With this diamond-shaped base you create the basis for your individual holder of RAM Mount. This format of the base allows you to attach it diagonally, for example to the frame of the driver's cab. The holes fit diagonally into industry standard AMPS (four holes in rectangular arrangement, 30x38 mm) but only two holes of the scheme are used.

RAM mounts are highly flexible. But what exactly do you need?

A working RAM Mount System always exists from a base, a connection/arm and a Equipment holder. This will be a good foundation for your individual holder.

Which basis should you use?

Depending on the weight of the equipment to be installed there are four different systems. These differ mainly by the size of the connection balls from 1 inch to 3.38 inches:

1 inch (size B): For light equipment up to 0,9 kg
1.5 inch (size C): For equipment up to 1,8 kg
2.25 inch (size D): For heavy equipment up to 2,7 kg
3.38 inch (size E): For very heavy equipment up to 9 kg

For secure attachment of accessories in unsprung industrial trucks, in which very high centrifugal forces can occur, it is recommended to choose a system one size larger than derived from the pure weight.
