With this clamp base as the first link, you can mount your RAM-mount system very quickly and without tools. Drilling in your vehicle is not necessary. For example, mount the clamps on the pillars of the overheadguard or other edges or carriers.

A working RAM Mount System always exists from a base, a connection/arm and a Equipment holder. This will be a good foundation for your individual holder.

Which basis should you use?

Depending on the weight of the equipment to be installed there are four different systems. These differ mainly by the size of the connection balls from 1 inch to 2.25 inches:

1 inch (size B): For light equipment up to 0,9 kg
1.5 inch (size C): For equipment up to 1,8 kg
2.25 inch (size D): For heavy equipment up to 2,7 kg

For secure attachment of accessories in unsprung industrial trucks, in which very high centrifugal forces can occur, it is recommended to choose a system one size larger than derived from the pure weight.
