Our next-gen electric counterbalanced truck Traigo_i won the Red Dot Design award 2025. Created through seamless collaboration across our Design Center, R&D, Product Management, and Marketing teams, this innovation features an integrated Li-ion battery and a standout design that combines performance with style. This recognition highlights our commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation.
“The symmetry of the design gives the truck functional aesthetics, usability benefits and operational efficiency. Unmatched design that puts a new perspective on the evolution of Toyota Material Handling Europe's design language and demonstrates its future philosophy.”

Electric forklifts are quieter than their internal combustion counterparts and they have clean and unharmful emissions. Thanks to their low maintenance requirements, they have a low total cost of ownership while providing excellent ergonomics. Electric trucks also have a low centre of gravity, allowing us to offer you a wide range of load capacities to suit light to heavy-duty applications.
Charging times and patterns depend on your battery solution and operational requirements. Lead-acid batteries should be charged when their battery level has dropped to 20%, this will extend the battery’s life expectancy to five years or more. Lithium-ion batteries are more flexible, their lifespan is not affected by charging frequency. In fact, with Li-ion, opportunity charging is encouraged to maintain your warehouse’s activities.
Forklift drivers don't have a formal licencing authority. Rules and certification differs per country. Forklift operators should be educated on how to drive a forklift efficiently and safely. Not only to contribute to health and safety on site, but also to reduce damage cost and labour cost.
