Field Technician - Coventry/Rugby/Leamington/Tamworth/Hinckley

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced field service engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other equipment in Coventry, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Tamworth and Hinckley areas.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced field service engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other equipment in Coventry/Rugby/Leaming  

About the job – the main responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • To service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment

  • To deal promptly with customers’ enquiries, complaints or problems and refer immediately to higher authority if required

  • Follow safety process and ensure safe working practices at all times

  • To maintain ‘vehicle stocks’, company tools, manuals and all other company property in good and clean order

  • To correctly complete and submit work sheets, weekly report sheets and all other relevant returns on time

  • To ensure that the company’s safety regulations are followed at all times, and report any anomalies immediately

  • To promote at all times a good company image, know the company’s procedures related to your job and develop good customer relations

Who are we looking for

All you need to apply is:

  • Experience in mechanical engineering (service and maintenance)

  • A background in materials handling equipment (forklift, lift trucks) would be desirable

  • Basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial

  • Full driving licence
