HR/Recruitment Assistant

We are looking for a People Support Assistant - Onboarding to be part of our People Support and Development team in our Castleford Business Centre. You will provide high quality support for the People Support team with a focus on recruitment and onboarding.

About the role

The role will involve managing the recruitment process from start to finish with a focus on recruiting the best people to join the company in a timely manner and within budget.

On a day-today basis this is what you would be doing:

• Support the People Development team with the facilitation of face to face and online learning.
• Create new and audit current job adverts and job descriptions.
• Search for potential candidates and make contact to promote vacancies.
• Set up interviews and follow up with feedback.
• Develop and update reports related to HR and recruitment.
• Provide support for the functional HR team including HR calls, welfare calls, meetings and processing.
• Support our Fleet team with basic administration tasks.

• Good organisations skills and time management skills.
• Competency on Microsoft Packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn and social media.
• Ability to work well with varied tasks and under pressure.
• Professional telephone manner.
