We make sure that whenever a new salesperson joins the team, they complete an identical set of inductions, regardless of their level of expertise. The training sessions introduce them to the company and our products, providing them with the knowledge they need to become your trusted advisor.
We had to find new ways to deliver training during the pandemic. So, like many others, we went digital and offered new starters online video calls, where they could gain the theoretical knowledge they require to succeed in their new position.
This month, we are delighted to have now been able to bring in new starters that joined the organisation right before or during the pandemic, to undergo a four-day product training course at our depot in Leicester.
As a result, they are gaining their first hands-on experience with Toyota products and have enjoyed getting to touch and feel the trucks throughout the training sessions. This has provided our new sales team members with the optimal opportunity to learn about the features and benefits of each of our 253 models of trucks, from Hand Pallet Trucks to Counterbalance Forklifts, giving them the tools and expertise to thrive in their role.
