Senior Business Analyst - Nottingham/Derby

We are looking for a full time Senior Business Analyst to work as part of our finance team to provide senior analytical, commercial and financial support at our office in Nottingham. About the role

The role involves providing business analysis information for various departments within the business. On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:

  • To provide cross divisional detailed business reports and performance indicators for all areas of the business, including costs and pricing and work closely with the Controller Group
  • Provide detailed performance reporting in all key business areas including Sales, Aftersales and Parts
  • To provide month end support with calculating commission, overtime and bonus payments
  • To maintain, update and improve all management reporting systems
  • Ad hoc Specific projects relating to accounts as required
  • To lead the development of data modelling tools and concepts (eg Cube functionality)
  • Use of tools including (but not limited to) Excel, M3 ERP, TMHUK Intranet, Rental Calculator

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has experience working in a similar senior financial analysis position.

  • Accounting, financial and analytical background
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities with extensive experience in manipulating a large amounts of data
  • PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel SQL
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to build trust-based relationships with all colleagues and customers
  • Effective communicator
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail to provide the best customer support
  • Strong leadership skills
