LOCATION: North Wales
We are currently looking to recruit a new business development sales person to approach and sell materials handling equipment to customers in North Wales.
You will be responsible for approaching and working with a range of small to medium organisations, identifying their material handling needs and providing solutions from the Toyota range including forklifts, warehouse trucks, automation solutions and supporting services like fleet management and rental. To work as part of the world’s number one materials handling organisation you must be professional, experienced in sales and have excellent communication skills.
About the job – the main responsibilities
As a new business development sales person, a large part of your role will be visiting and contacting existing and new customers to generate sales.
You will need to understand the customers’ requirements and develop solutions to support their materials handling operations; this will include conducting site surveys, specifying equipment and project managing orders from initial visits to delivery.
Who are we looking for
We are looking for professional and experienced sales people who have worked in business to business sales. Experience working in the logistics, supply chain or materials handling industry would be beneficial, but not essential as full product training will be given.
All you need to apply is:
• Experience of working in a sales role, preferably business to business
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems)
• A full driving licence
• A smart professional appearance
• The flexibility to stay away from home as you will be expected to attend a training course as part of your employment
